  7. - The Innovation Head of Engineering and R&D will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the personnel in the Engineering and R&D department. This position will report to the CEO of IMSS.
  8. - Ability to think several years into the future as it relates to the general evolution of technology and how it could impact the various components of the business from a product /Service vantage point.
  9. - Managing and commercializing recognized innovation in a multinational context, including product and process, and involvement with IP and Legal.
  10. - To create formal business cases and product descriptions and work as a facilitator between the various internal practices to ensure product policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately.
  11. - Identify and present innovative and creative product solutions by adopting latest tools and technologies. Leads regularly scheduled meetings centered on system and operational requirements for product changes and new product development.
  12. - Experience in driving the complete product lifecycle from inception to GTM within a cross-functional team
  13. - Project management of all product integration/launches/changes throughout implementation.
  14. - Identify the business and operational requirements based upon the business requirements & objectives of each product.
  15. - Display a high level of critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products.
  16. - Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal practices and cross business units
  17. - Develop & conduct specialized training on new products launched and raise awareness & application of relevant subject matter.
  18. - Monitor internal processes for efficiency and validity pre & post product launch/changes.
  19. - Expected to recognize performance strengths and limitations of subordinates and effectively coach them to achieve their maximum potential
  20. - Monitoring and analyzing market trends, studying competitors' products and services
  21. - Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability
  22. - Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product.
  23. - Interfaces with development leads to ensure product requirements are properly understood
  24. - Coordinates product releases with the development, marketing, sales and service teams
  25. - Work closely and effectively with the field to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction

Required Candidate profile

  • - Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science and Engineering
  • - Minimum 15 years of experience preferably with minimum 5 years in a product development and innovation / IP generation activities (Product development in Security and Infrastructure space is a plus)
  • - Experience leading an R&D or Product Development team
  • - Passion for creating a framework for future products and technologies
  • - Skilled at developing new ideas from both a product and process perspective
  • - Experience in product development, strategic planning, and implementation preferred.
  • - Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing.
  • - Solid technical background and good understanding of Identity and access management technologies, Global Risk and Compliance, Vulnerability and Penetration Testing, Network and Cyber Security, Cloud & Virtualization, Data Base, Data Center, Servers and Storage
  • - Strong understanding of private and cloud application platforms, Java, ASP.net, node.js, spring, apache http, J2EE servers- etc
  • - Strong interpersonal, project management, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional partners, industry partners, customers, and the field.
